Mary Catherine Strongman grew up in suburban Toronto and found art and its world a constant lure to her senses. She earned her Interior Decorating degree from Sheridan College where she excelled at all levels. Her design ideas are sought after both commercially and residentially due to her sense of style and colour.
Dramatic and bold, MC is self taught and has honed her painting skills by simply relying on her infallible instinct for colour and texture. When you look at her paintings you can feel the emotions of each layer she has put to canvas. Deep and abstract themes combine with rich and daring colours to help evoke emotion from all who view the paintings.
Mary Catherine Strongman is currently living in Burlington, Ontario. She is dedicated to imagery and always sketches her vision before bringing it to life on canvas. Her true talent is in acrylics and is seen as her work comes alive through layers of colour and varying brush strokes. Married, this mother of five and grandmother of three understands the importance of remaining true to oneself and her art and does so with pride and a love for all she creates.

It is because of my love for children and wanting to support this wonderful centre that I donate 10% of all sales to the Halton Trauma Centre.
